TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SALON DE JEUX DE TROIS-RIVIÈRES
DEFINITIONSThe terms "Customer", "Player" and "User" refer to individuals who use the services provided by Salon de Jeux de Trois-Rivières (the "Gaming Hall"). The term "Loto-Québec" refers to the operator of the Gaming Hall, a Crown corporation wholly owned by the Government of Quebec.
ACCEPTANCE OF TERMSBy entering or using the facilities and services offered by the Gaming Hall, each Customer acknowledges that they have read, understood and agrees to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
AGE RESTRICTIONOnly individuals aged 18 years and above are permitted to enter and use the services of the Gaming Hall.
RESPONSIBLE GAMBLING POLICYThe Gaming Hall is committed to responsible gaming practices. Customers are advised that excessive gambling can lead to financial problems, emotional stress, or other personal difficulties. The Customer acknowledges that they have been informed about the risks associated with excessive gambling and that it is their responsibility to manage their play accordingly.
ACCESS RESTRICTIONSAccess to the Gaming Hall may be restricted for individuals who are:
- Under 18 years old;
- Self-excluded from participating in gaming activities under Loto-Québec's self-exclusion program;
- Barred or disqualified due to past behavior, security risks, or other reasons; or
- Ineligible to gamble in Quebec by law.
USE OF FACILITIES AND SERVICESCustomers must only use the facilities and services of the Gaming Hall for their intended purpose - gaming activities. The Customer agrees not to engage in any unlawful or unacceptable behavior on the premises.
GAMING RULESAll games played at the Gaming Hall are governed by rules provided by Loto-Québec, which can be found on display within the facility or available upon request. Customers must familiarize themselves with these rules before participating in gaming activities.
PAYMENT TERMSCustomers acknowledge that all bets placed and wagers made through the services of the Gaming Hall may result in losses up to the full amount wagered. The Customer agrees to accept payment methods approved by Loto- Québec for any winnings or payouts from games played at the Gaming Hall.
PROHIBITED ACTIVITIESThe following activities are strictly prohibited within the Gaming Hall:
- Smuggling, storing, or attempting to remove gaming equipment and other material assets;
- Damaging property owned by Loto-Québec;
- Cheating, colluding, or engaging in other forms of unfair play;
- Using unauthorized computer hardware or software that may facilitate cheating.
GAMING TERMINALS AND EQUIPMENTAll slot machines, electronic gaming terminals and poker tables are subject to technical inspection and audits by authorized officials under the supervision of Loto-Québec. Customers understand that the outcomes of games played at the Gaming Hall depend solely on a certified random number generator approved by provincial regulators.
TECHNICAL FAILURE OR DELAYIn the event of technical failure, malfunction or delay affecting gaming services, Loto-Québec reserves the right to suspend or stop games temporarily until the issue is resolved. The Customer acknowledges that no compensation will be awarded in such cases unless a service interruption exceeds four (4) hours.
LIABILITY LIMITATIONSUnder all circumstances, Loto-Québec's liability for any direct or indirect losses arising from the use of gaming facilities and services at Salon de Jeux de Trois-Rivières is limited to amounts already won by the Customer under such games played in accordance with the established rules.
DISPUTE RESOLUTIONAny disputes arising out of these Terms and Conditions will be resolved according to Quebec law.
GOVERNING LAW AND JURISDICTION These Terms and Conditions are governed and construed according to Quebec laws, without giving effect to any choice or conflict-of-law provision or rule (whether of the State of Quebec or otherwise). Any disputes arising in connection with these Terms and Conditions will be resolved exclusively by a court having jurisdiction over it.
AMENDMENTSLoto-Québec reserves its right to modify or update these Terms and Conditions at its own discretion without prior notice, as necessary for regulatory compliance or operational changes.
FINAL PROVISIONSIn the event of any conflict between the original text in French and any translation (including this one), the version in French will prevail.
